ASPD persons are generally in a position of intense difficulty in functioning in society [that is NOT to say there ‘is no hope']. But. A lack of love and acceptance can ONLY be overcome by an even more authentic REVERSE of genuine love and acceptance.
In my honest [as well as expert, experiential + very high IQ]: opinion → you need a bit of darkness to fight the really dark people out there.
Because if there's one saying [amongst many] - that holds true, it is: nice guys finish LAST!
Aside from that. BE A NICE GUY. BUT NOT *TOO* NICE.
This is NOT to say that ‘such a person’ is the ‘most desirable of personalities’ [from wherein your comparison is purely against a person with ASPD].

And there's been a plethora of research about this [this is an inadvertent explanation for the aforementioned point]: the typical female pornography/literotica fantasy is generally of the ‘type’: werewolf, barrister, vampire, pirate, surgeon, billionaire… and yes, it is ‘common’ for the female to *fantasise* [NOTHING MORE is needed] - about this said of types. But what is underlying the theme is the MOST important component to understanding why ‘in life, we need a mixture of the good and the bad’ (you'll find out one day {particularly if you're a female} - when you meet someone truly bad) → as pertinent to this fantasy is: THE FEMALE is *initially* attracted by the ‘monster’ - however this is NOT their prima facie motivation or ‘desire’, rather it is → THEY SEEK [AND in the fantasy, indeed do believe they will]: to TAME the beast/monster - such that he will be her prince/king and be there *to fight of the REAL MONSTERS*.
